تقدمت قوة تابعة لجيش الاحتلال  باتجاه منطقة قريبة من نقطة للجيش اللبناني بين دير ميماس وبرج الملوك جنوبي لبنان، في خطوة انتهت بإغلاق الطريق بين البلدتين وتراجع عناصر الجيش اللبناني من موقعهم.

قوة للاحتلال  قرب النقطة العسكرية

وقال مصدر أمني لبناني لمراسل وكالة الأنباء الأردنية (بترا) في بيروت، إن الجيش اللبناني أقام قبل نحو ثلاثة أيام نقطة عسكرية عند المثلث الواقع بين دير ميماس وبرج الملوك، على الطريق الرئيسية في المنطقة، إلى جانب نقطة أخرى بمحاذاة الطريق باتجاه دير ميماس.

دبابات وناقلات جنود

وأوضح المصدر أن قوة الاحتلال  مؤلفة من دبابتي ميركافا وناقلات جنود تقدمت من الجهة الجنوبية، وتحديدًا من منطقة تل النحاس، ووصلت إلى مسافة تقدر بنحو 100 متر من نقطة الجيش اللبناني.

وأضاف أن هذا التقدم دفع عناصر الجيش اللبناني إلى التراجع نحو 500 متر باتجاه الشمال، فيما استنفرت وحدات الجيش في المنطقة، وسط إصرار على عدم قطع الطريق بين البلدتين، باعتباره منفذًا لأهالي دير ميماس.

تهديدات باستهداف الجيش اللبناني

وأشار المصدر إلى أن جيش الاحتلال هدد عناصر الجيش اللبناني باستهدافهم في حال عدم مغادرتهم المكان عند أطراف بلدة دير ميماس، مؤكدًا أن الجيش اللبناني لا يزال موجودًا في المنطقة.

استمرار التوتر جنوب لبنان

ويأتي هذا التطور في ظل استمرار التوتر على الحدود الجنوبية للبنان، وسط تحركات عسكرية في مناطق متاخمة للحدود وتصاعد المخاوف بشأن تأثيرها على حركة السكان والطرق المحلية.

Israeli occupation forces advanced toward an area near a Lebanese Army position between Deir Mimas and Burj al-Muluk in southern Lebanon, resulting in the closure of the road connecting the two towns and the withdrawal of Lebanese Army personnel from their position.

A Lebanese security source told the Jordan News Agency (Petra) correspondent in Beirut that the Lebanese Army had established a military position about three days earlier at the junction between Deir Mimas and Burj al-Muluk, along the main road in the area, in addition to another position alongside the road toward Deir Mimas.

Merkava Tanks and Armored Vehicles

The source said a force of two Merkava tanks and armored personnel carriers belonging to the Israeli occupation forces advanced from the southern side, specifically from Tall al-Nahas, reaching approximately 100 meters from the Lebanese Army position.

The advance prompted Lebanese Army personnel to withdraw about 500 meters northward. Army units were placed on alert, while insisting that the road between the two towns remain open because it serves as an access route for residents of Deir Mimas.

Threats Against Lebanese Soldiers

The source added that the Israeli occupation army threatened Lebanese Army personnel with targeting if they did not leave the area on the outskirts of Deir Mimas. However, the Lebanese Army remains in the area, according to the source.

Tensions Continue in Southern Lebanon

The development comes amid continued tensions in southern Lebanon, with military movements near the border raising concerns over their impact on local residents and access routes between towns.
