In a ceremony attended by Dr. Shukri Al-Marashdeh, Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of Jadara University, Vice President Prof. Iman Al-Basheti, and Manal Ibrahim, Director of the American University of the Middle East Schools, Jadara University signed a memorandum of understanding with Royal Holloway, London. The agreement, signed by Dr. Al-Basheti and Dr. Tracy Bhamra, Vice President of Royal Holloway, aims to enhance academic and cultural cooperation.
Dr. Al-Marashdeh expressed his happiness with the visit to one of the world's prestigious universities, appreciating the attractive educational environment and valuable partnership. He emphasized Jadara University's commitment to international collaboration to gain diverse expertise in higher education, contributing to its development and prosperity.
Prof. Al-Basheti highlighted the partnership's importance, which includes faculty and staff exchanges for training, student exchanges for cultural and training programs, participation in academic conferences and research, and e-learning initiatives. The agreement also facilitates Jadara graduates' admission to postgraduate programs at Royal Holloway.
The visit featured presentations on both institutions, a tour of university facilities, and an exchange of commemorative gifts.
